Kingdom City New York director Miriam Bloom inadvertently ignites a culture war
in Kingdom City, Missouri when she casts members of a Christian
abstinence program in a high school production of 'The Crucible'. The
fallout creates a crucible of its own in which Miriam, her husband
Daniel, the students, and the community must confront their convictions
about morality, love, art, and individual integrity. UCSB faculty member Risa Brainin directs the world premiere of this drama by American playwright Sheri Wilner. Location: Performing Arts Theater
